Basketball Recap: Forest Park's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Forest Park couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Parke Heritage Wolves by a score of 48-46 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rangers have suffered since December 21, 2023.

Parke Heritage's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Treigh Schelsky, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 23 points. That's the most points Schelsky has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carter Crum, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points.
