Basketball Recap: Holy Ghost Prep Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Holy Ghost Prep rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 62-57 W over the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers.

Despite the loss, Lampeter-Strasburg still got an impressive performance from Chase Smucker, who shot 59% from the field en route to 24 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Connor Kouterick, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 13 points.

Holy Ghost Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Lampeter-Strasburg's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.

Holy Ghost Prep has already played their next game, a 68-54 loss against Penncrest on the 11th. Lampeter-Strasburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
