There's no place like home for Landrum, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Blacksburg Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-18.

Halie Cantrell paced Landrum's offense, picking up seven kills. Cantrell got some help from Maddie Smith and her 13 assists. Ella Wilkie controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Despite the loss, Blacksburg still got an impressive performance from Ashley Caraway, who had 13 digs and one assist. Caraway has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Landrum is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Blacksburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Landrum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Chesnee on the 11th. Blacksburg has also already played their next contest (against Brashier Middle College Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
