Maryville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Karns Beavers as the Maryville Red Rebels made off with an 8-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Red Rebels in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won six in a row.

Colton Foust was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maryville will square off against Sevier County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Karns, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cumberland Gap at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
