Basketball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Douglass Indians, falling 66-29. Carlisle was not able to make up for their defeat to Douglass from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Douglass, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-15.

Carlisle will head out to challenge New Summerfield at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Carlisle is facing New Summerfield at the right time seeing as New Summerfield is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Douglass, they will host Alto at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Alto knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Douglass likes a good challenge.
