Basketball Recap: Hephzibah Comes Up Short

Hephzibah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Lincoln County Red Devils on the road by a 47-28 margin. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, Hephzibah still got an impressive performance from ISAIAH RICHARDSON, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points. JAMARCUS SALMOND was another key player, putting up five points.

Hephzibah's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Lincoln County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Hephzibah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln County, they will venture away from home to take on Taliaferro County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Taliaferro County has insisted on making their lastnine contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-9 during that stretch of close contests.
