Recap: San Clemente Tritons vs. Woodbridge Warriors
The San Clemente Tritons came tearing into Wednesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past Woodbridge 61-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
San Clemente got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chase Tolliver out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Whidden, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
San Clemente's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Woodbridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
San Clemente is on the road again on Thursday and play against Laguna Beach at 4:00 p.m. on November 30th. Laguna Beach has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 396 points over their last six matches. As for Woodbridge, they will square off against Capistrano Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
