Baseball Game Preview: Cardinal Hayes Cardinals vs. All Hallows Gaels

Cardinal Hayes hasn't had much luck against All Hallows recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cardinals will be playing at home against the Gaels at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cardinal Hayes' offense. They lost 11-0 to Archbishop Stepinac on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Cardinals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cardinal Hayes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fausto Dominguez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, All Hallows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Mt. St. Michael Academy, falling 14-0.

Cardinal Hayes' loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for All Hallows, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
