Baseball Recap: Hopatcong Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Hopatcong fell victim to Delaware Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Terriers, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Chiefs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hopatcong's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-8. As for Delaware Valley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Hopatcong will host Kittatinny Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Delaware Valley, they will face off against The Pingry School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
