Softball Game Preview: Northwestern Bulls vs. Edison Red Raiders

The Northwestern Bulls will face off against the Edison Red Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

After dropping their season opener at home, Edison is headed out to face a Bulls squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Northwestern came up short against Hialeah-Miami Lakes last Monday, falling 17-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bulls in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-3 to Central.

Northwestern took their win against Edison in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0. Does Northwestern have another victory up their sleeve, or will Edison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
