Basketball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

Elgin has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 29.73 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They took a blow against the Union Bobcats, falling 55-23. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Elgin's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Union, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Elgin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 42-15 win against Wallowa on the 17th. As for Union, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-36 victory against Powder Valley on the 17th.
