Homestead had won two straight games and Harrison Talarico did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Columbus North Bull Dogs with plenty of help from Talarico, who had 11 digs. Talarico is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season.

Homestead's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Columbus North, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lawrence North on the 12th. As for Columbus North, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Harrison on the 12th.
