Football Recap: Brownstown Central Piles Up the Points Against New Albany + How To Watch

While Brownstown Central put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for New Albany. The Braves breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of 56-0. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 201st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brownstown Central can attribute much of their success to Preston Garrison, who rushed for 92 yards on only six carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 56 yards.

Garrison was just one part of a punishing run game: Brownstown Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 237 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Albany only rushed for 86 rushing yards.
