Softball Recap: Priest River Takes a Loss

Priest River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 25-4 to the Kellogg Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-5 on Wednesday.

Priest River saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Leitch, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Those hits marked the first that Leitch got this season.

Priest River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Kellogg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Priest River didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 41-4 loss against Orofino on the 11th. As for Kellogg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-9 defeat against Bonners Ferry on the 10th.
