Basketball Recap: Timberline Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

On Tuesday, the Timberline Wolves earned a 63-54 victory over the Ridgevue Warhawks.

Ridgevue's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Myra Martinez, who posted 13 points, and McKenna Durrant, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 14 points and eight boards. Durrant has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Marissa Tuft was another key player, putting up five points.

Timberline is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Ridgevue, they dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Timberline will welcome Capital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgevue, they will venture away from home to face off against Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eagle will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Ridgevue surely won't give up without a fight.
