While Huntingdon put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Union City. The Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Golden Tornadoes 42-0. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Huntingdon found their leader in sophomore Broox Bennett, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss). Lucas Smith got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Huntingdon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 221 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Huntingdon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Myles Pelonero and Smith. Smith got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Huntingdon's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Union City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Huntingdon will welcome Memphis Business Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. Union City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
