Basketball Recap: Assumption's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Assumption can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 76-66 victory over the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles. The Royals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Assumption's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Chequamegon, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Assumption will be home for the holidays to greet Edgar at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
