Volleyball Recap: DeMotte Christian Comes Up Short

DeMotte Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Newton Rebels. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rebels when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

DeMotte Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for South Newton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, DeMotte Christian will take on Marquette Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Newton, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Tri-County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
