Softball Recap: Berry Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Mecklenburg, Berry was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Garinger Wildcats get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

The win got Berry back to even at 1-1. As for Garinger, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Berry will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Hopewell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Garinger, they will venture away from home to challenge Butler at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
