Volleyball Game Preview: Unity Christian Lions vs. Trinity Prep Lions

Unity Christian will face off against Trinity Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Unity Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on The Stonehaven School with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on four straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Unity Christian took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-15.

Ella Claire Goodwin was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted over her last eight matchups.

Goodwin wasn't the only good servers: Unity Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Trinity Prep got the win against Harvester Christian Academy on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

Unity Christian's record now sits at 20-16. As for Trinity Prep, their record is now 29-4.
