Flag Football Recap: Lakeside Starts Season with Loss at Home

Lakeside unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 26-0 to the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Yellow Jackets from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Southeast Bulloch can attribute much of their success to Emma Cate Barron, who threw for 145 yards and three TDs.

Lakeside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-0 victory against Davidson Fine Arts on the 30th. As for Southeast Bulloch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 47-6 win against Peach County on the 1st.
