Baseball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Laton

Legacy Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Laton Mustangs as they made off with a 17-0 victory. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Chase Newlen made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
