Softball Recap: South Elgin Storm vs. Aurora East Tomcats
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Elgin). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Aurora East Tomcats a 26-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Storm considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Grace Krabbe made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Krabbe was even better at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
