Softball Recap: Girard Academic Music Program Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kensington last Tuesday, Girard Academic Music Program came back down to earth. The Pioneers came up short against the Northeast Vikings on Monday, falling 27-6. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Girard Academic Music Program's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northeast, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Girard Academic Music Program will square off against Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northeast, they will take on George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
