The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sequim, who took down 225th ranked Sequim, 13-7.
Olympic was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in 2A Olympic. Earlier in the week, the Trojans triumphed over the Wolves 13-7.
Klahowya's dynamic duo of Jacob Sheets and Josh Ganowski proved tough for Port Angeles to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sheets threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns and Ganowski had 223 yards receiving. Grady Bashore helped Klahowya's passing attack out by catching three balls for 41 yards.
Tommy Renne was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 144 yards on 20 carries as North Mason beat the Roughriders. Teammate Brody Stromberg added to the ground attack by rushing for 72 yards.
Klahowya's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sheets has thrown for 751 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Ganowski has 24 catches for 543 yards. Latrell Simpson leads the league in rushing with 513 yards.
A big matchup in 2A Olympic this week will be when Klahowya takes on Olympic. The Eagles are in third place, while the Trojans are in fourth place.
The Bulldogs moved up to 184 from 212 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. North Mason climbed the ranks as a result of a 20-13 win over Kingston.
