Mauston won the last time they faced Colby and things went their way on Saturday too. The Golden Eagles came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Breanna Heller paced Mauston's offense, picking up eight kills. Heller got some help from Rylea Mehne and her 11 assists. Ellie Pouillie controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mauston's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Colby, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Mauston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Pardeeville on the 20th. As for Colby, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Baraboo on the 20th.
