On Saturday Normandy will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to face off against the Hawken Hawks at 11:00 a.m. Hawken took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Normandy, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Normandy narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lakewood 3-2.
Normandy was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-98), but they still managed to win. After all that action, the final score was 25-20, 26-24, 17-25, 15-25, 15-12.
Meanwhile, Hawken came up short against Perry on Thursday and fell 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 17-25, 25-14, 25-19.
Normandy's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Hawken, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
