Baseball Recap: Warden Comes Up Short

Warden lost against River View on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Warden fell just short of River View by a score of 3-2. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warden saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Warden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for River View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warden will take on Lake Roosevelt at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for River View, they will challenge Brewster at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
