Volleyball Game Preview: Bradford Prep Bears vs. Covenant Day Lions

The Bradford Prep Bears will face off against the Covenant Day Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bradford Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Bradford Prep made easy work of Mountain Island Charter and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bradford Prep took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12, 25-11.

If Legion Collegiate Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Covenant Day, they should've done a better job of containing Duh Mang. The Lions walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lancers on Wednesday thanks in part to Mang, who had 14 digs and three assists. He has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times he's played.

Covenant Day had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

The victory made it two in a row for Covenant Day and bumps their season record up to 10-3. As for Bradford Prep, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
