Baseball Recap: Tarrant Comes Up Short

Tarrant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-4 to the Center Point Eagles. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Tarrant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Center Point, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Tarrant and Center Point's could be walking into a shootout. Tarrant allows their opponents to put quite a few scores each game. They have given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Center Point allows their opponents to put quite a few scores each game.
