Boonton scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hopatcong Chiefs. The Bombers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2016.

Boonton has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Hopatcong, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Boonton will take on North Warren Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopatcong has already played their next match (against Lenape Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
