Basketball Recap: Frankford Pioneers vs. Central Lancers

There's no place like home for Frankford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 win over the Central Lancers. The Pioneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frankford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brandon Gage, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Gage has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Doron Ross, who went 7 of 10 en route to 15 points.

Frankford was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Frankford moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
