Softball Recap: First Assembly Christian Starts Season with Loss at Home

First Assembly Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Clay County Christian Academy Eagles on Friday, falling 21-3. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The win was the sixth in a row (dating back to last season) for Clay County Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 2-0.

First Assembly Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clay County Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 8th. As for Clay County Christian Academy, they will take on Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
