St. Mary entered their tilt with Blue Ridge on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Yellow Jackets by a score of 7-3. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Mary's let Giahni Ruiz and Angie Figueroa run wild. Ruiz scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Figueroa scored a run while going 2-for-2. Meredith Schager also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

St. Mary's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .619. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .517 or higher in five consecutive games.

St. Mary's record now sits at 7-2. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
