Baseball Recap: Wheatmore Takes a Loss

Wheatmore was the 20-10 winner over Southwestern Randolph when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors lost 12-2 to the Cougars on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wheatmore's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Southwestern Randolph, they moved to 6-10 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

While Wheatmore had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
