Soccer Recap: Cony Starts Season with Loss at Home

Cony unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Erskine Academy Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for Cony in their meetings with Erskine Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.

Looking ahead, Cony will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Gardiner at 3:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Erskine Academy, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Lincoln Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
