Baseball Recap: Sidney Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Sidney and Tecumseh, and Tecumseh kept the tradition alive. Sidney fell 8-4 to Tecumseh on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 8-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Sidney saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Davis, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Sidney will be playing at home against Miamisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tecumseh, they will head out on the road to square off against Greeneview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
