Basketball Recap: St. Charles North Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, St. Charles North couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 52-45 to the Wheaton North Falcons on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent loss being a 38-31 defeat back in January.

St. Charles North's defeat dropped their record down to 23-9. As for Wheaton North, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season.

St. Charles North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wheaton North, they will face off against Batavia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Batavia sitting on four straight wins and Wheaton North on three.
