Soccer Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the White Knoll Timberwolves, falling 7-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for White Knoll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westwood will take on Ridge View at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Westwood has given up an average of 5.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for White Knoll, they will face off against River Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give River Bluff their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
