Baseball Recap: Buhach Colony Comes Up Short

Buhach Colony lost against Atwater on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Thunder fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 4-3. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daniel Sims was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Ethan Kendrick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Buhach Colony's loss dropped their record down to 8-17-1. As for Atwater, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-1 record this season.

While Buhach Colony had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
