Dighton-Rehoboth Regional came tearing into Thursday's contest with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Plymouth South Panthers an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 12 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Plymouth South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
