Basketball Recap: Southeast Beats Big Horn for Their Second Straight Win

Southeast won the last time they faced Big Horn, and Ayden Desmond did his part to make sure it happened again. The Southeast Cyclones had just enough and edged the Big Horn Rams out 41-38 thanks in part to Desmond, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Moats, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and five blocks. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more blocks the last 11 times he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Southeast and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for Big Horn, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Southeast has already played their next matchup, a 52-21 win against Guernsey-Sunrise on the 8th. As for Big Horn, they will look to defend their home court on February 14th against Sundance at 6:00 p.m.
