Basketball Recap: ROWVA/Williamsfield Comes Up Short

ROWVA/Williamsfield lost against Knoxville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars were outmatched by the Knoxville Blue Bullets and fell 74-24. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Knoxville, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ROWVA/Williamsfield will host Abingdon/Avon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Abingdon/Avon will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something ROWVA/Williamsfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Knoxville, they will welcome Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
