Football Recap: Licking Valley Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Licking Valley won against Sheridan last Friday with 28 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Panthers strolled past the Amanda-Clearcreek Aces with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Aces are ranked 514th).

Licking Valley pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
