Basketball Game Preview: Lebanon Cedars vs. Penn Manor Comets

The Lebanon Cedars will head out to square off against the Penn Manor Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, Lebanon came up short against J.P. McCaskey and fell 67-60.

Meanwhile, Penn Manor hadn't done well against Manheim Township recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Penn Manor secured a 62-56 W over Manheim Township. The victory was some much needed relief for the Comets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lebanon has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Penn Manor, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Lebanon came up short against Penn Manor in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 65-54. Can Lebanon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
