Basketball Recap: Community Christian Takes a Loss

Community Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 50-25 to the Dawson Springs Panthers. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Community Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Dawson Springs, they moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Community Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fulton City at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Dawson Springs, they will host Madisonville-North Hopkins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
