Soccer Recap: Birch Run Comes Up Short

Birch Run was the 6-2 winner over Durand when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Railroaders on Thursday, falling 9-2.

Birch Run's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Durand, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Birch Run will square off against Ovid-Elsie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Durand, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Livingston Christian on the 8th.
