Basketball Recap: Knob Noster Comes Up Short

Knob Noster was the 78-47 winner over Lafayette County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Knob Noster Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 47-46 to the Lafayette County Huskers.

Knob Noster's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Lafayette County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knob Noster will head out to challenge Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lafayette County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lexington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette County is facing Lexington at the right time seeing as Lexington is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
