Volleyball Recap: Shelby County Takes a Loss

Shelby County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Western Hills Wolverines. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shelby County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Western Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelby County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oldham County at 6:00 p.m. on April 22. As for Western Hills, they will welcome Frederick Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
