Baseball Recap: Lanphier Takes a Loss

Lanphier lost against Springfield Southeast back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kane Baskett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run. Jayvion Anderson also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Lanphier's record is now 1-21. As for Springfield Southeast, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-19 record.

While Lanphier had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
